Import Options
If checked, values of data fields in the imported items will replace the local existing items that have the same SKU number. This option is very useful to update your inventory data fields such as price and quantity but keep the location and cost information. For example, if you import an open list report from Amazon, since the location and cost are not in the open list report, their values in the local file will remain unchanged during the import process. But other data fields, such as price, will be updated with the value in the imported open list report.
- Purge Non-imported Old Items
If checked, then the local existing items that are not in the imported files will be removed. This option is particularly useful to sync the local inventory to the Amazon.com inventory database. For example, if you have an item SKU001 in the local inventory, but it has been sold out in the market and therefore not in the Amazon.com open list report. During the import process, the local copy of SKU001 will be removed.
- Set Export flag on each item
The export flag is used to control whether the item will be exported or uploaded during the export process. If this check box is checked, then every item will have this flag on after it’s imported. Otherwise, each item will have this flag cleared after import.
